Overview
This 3-day workshop is specially designed to provide delegates an insight into the Above Ground Storage Tanks (ASTs). The workshop will provide delegates in-depth understanding of AST issues to ensure best assets are maintained through the application of best inspection practices.
The workshop will first introduce the damage mechanisms found in fixed refinery equipment in accordance with API 571. It will then discuss each detailed section found in API 653. Apart from that, delegates will also have the opportunity to learn ASME Section V and Section IX of non-destructive test methods and WPS and PQR requirements.
Additionally, quizzes are given at the end of each section; homework is handed out at the end of each class day, which consists of 25 questions per day and is reviewed at the beginning of the following day, and an exam is administered at the end of the course.
