26th September 2018 - 28th September 2018
Event Navigation
Overview
Process safety incidents can induce an enormous loss of capital and business continuity and can cost enormous loss of reputation to companies. Further on, companies were responsible for all workers working on the site including people who are around the site and thus companies will need to know how to guarantee the safety of these people and how to ensure and to let people know that the facility is already operating at maximum safety.
In addition, companies will need to know how to ensure acceptable risk level through a comprehensive management system and to ensure that it is fit for purpose and suits the PSM system. This course will help delegates to address and understand all these issues.
In this 3-day workshop livened with case studies, Tijs will share his process safety knowledge and latest industry updates regarding process safety management. On the first day, delegates will firstly learn about the PSM System and relevant legislations including developing performance indicators.
He will then examine the process safety hazards, safety studies such as ALARP principles and the LOPA & SIL study and will share with delegates on the last day of workshop on process equipment and hazards, RCM and RBI. He will share with delegates his “Golden Rules” on Process Safety and to ensure that delegates understand the European Refineries & Petrochemicals best practices and approach to Process Safety Management.
